Im gonna answer Mike cause this jug is enroute to me to finish for Leadfarmer.Al, are you putting a dcomp in that jug, or plugging it? Do some 026 jugs have that and some not?
I presume that is a Meteor Piston cut to flat top.
Are that jug & piston similar to mine?
661 Mike.Whatcha got there John? Ms361?
Are you gonna put an extra washer or two under the plug?Im gonna answer Mike cause this jug is enroute to me to finish for Leadfarmer.
I will plug the decomp but plan on shortening the plug to lose some comp. this is a 260 jug and that is the stock piston.
Not sure yet Mike. When I have the jug in hand Ill decide. I plan on opening around the squish a bit also. Hoping to get this down around the 200 range. Are you gonna put an extra washer or two under the plug?
What would happen if you shortened the decomp plug? Maybe an extra washer under it or cut some of the threads of it??
They are. Al machined the piston flat.I thought the 026 pistons were domed, am I mixing things up?
That's Purdy John. I'm stealing your idea of the knife block for holding tools. [emoji4]
