I've seen sparks piss reving a ms261 at night to get the mtronic to reset. It sent a pretty solid stream out. It was a high hour saw with a lot of carbon build up. Got me worried at the time that something else was wrong. You can get away with a lot until the day you don't. I asked a old man when I was teenager if it was safe while he was smoking and cleaning carb parts in a coffee can of gas. He looked at me like I was the dumbest person in the world and put his cigarette out in the can of gas. It was in winter. I wouldn't try that but it didn't catch fire. I also got a short lecture about vapers vs fuel and temperature humidity etc vs flash point.
