Got the shed framing done today. Siding and purlins is tomorrow's plan. Was a nice 50° sunny fall day here in ohio. Perfect working temperature

Bench is fubar and going to be that way for a while......

This guy finally showed up.


Lil guy is #6 momma has her hands full. No bench time for a while. Have to step it up and be a second set of hands.

And guys I'm going to be honest. Fam life isn't for the faint of heart. Shop work is easy compared to it.

I'll be back in a while.

A few months (or maybe around a year) after I got some logging tapes I finally ordered and received the repair parts I need to fix 'em.

Dolmar PS-6100 Carbon Edition is getting her chain sharpened.
I went crazy on it though with aggressive grinding on my MAXX and utilizing custom rollers on one of my FastFilers.

Too large to fit on a bench but okay to back into my garage .My home built 5" splitter to replace the throttle cable on the 11 HP Briggs engine .My buds 8 HP Briggs for a carb change .New after market carb got tired of playing with the damned thing .Those damned up draft carbs after a period of time of sitting unused out in the weather become all funky inside .On a start up you have to give it a squirt of gas which becomes a nuisance

Completely forgot about those.
I put them back where I found them, not a priority ATM.

My Dolmar PS-7310 is getting a new chain, Oregon full chisel, full skip, no safety features.

My Dolmar PS-7310 is also finally getting a new clutch.
Hers got fried/blued by the previous owner, I just had no means to get the clutch loose without risking to damage something in the process.
Custom made clutch removal tool and impact drive to the rescue.
Being a dedicated long bar saw she will now have a clutch she deserves, drum already got replaced.



Clutch = 038 180 013
Contact shim 44.5x12x1 = 267389-1

FYI to those that are of the belief that the "spinny thing gotta have such a dark color" , no it doesn't!
Sharpen Your chains properly and stay off the dawgs!

Dolmar PS-9010 with 36"/115DL B&C getting a chain filing with a Archer FastFiler roller guide.
Left to right hand teeth were off in length by about 0.5mm after touching the chain up freehand several times.
