Not much this week, been working on cleaning up the house with mom. Setup new bed frame today. Yesterday I did swap out the stock Oregon safety chain to a Picco Super on my new Echo top handle. Tonight I have a snowblower to work on.

Evidently that same fella ran every one of those I've worked on. The piston is usually slightly scored, and the oil pump drive is melted.

We got lucky on this one. Piston was still minty. Just a thick layer of carbon on top. I actually had to scrape the carbon of and buff it up before I could get a squish measurement.

My first Denso plug failure.



Guess I got lucky. I can’t locate that missing piece anywhere and I don’t see any marks on the piston.
I stocked up on these. Hopefully this is just a fluke.
