If you go to the 14:05 mark in video you'll see where I apply sealant to stop the common oil leaks in these saws...... seems like ALL the saws with this design tend do it.
I carefully dab your favorite sealant on both rubber lines where they touch the pump. That hole is easily blocked...
With fresh new lines they don't leak, for a while.

My 3120xp just arrived from @davidwyby!
It'll get a quick cleanup/inspection before a couple runs in stock form. Then teardown for carb modification and port work. Oh, and about 1,000,000 Husqvarna 359 projects. Okay, maybe only 4 at the moment, and one red version, but I'm tripping all over these damn things lately.

Oh nice! Any history on the saw? Did you buy it new? Feel free to share. I like stories ;) If not, no worries. It looks like it's in overall good condition. I ordered a small handful of "crippy crap" little parts and a new foam air filter for it. Overall, it looks like everything is there though. I'm excited.

I was wondering if anyone would notice what it says on that recoil.
First thing my eye went to! Those are freakin' clean. I've always thought that decal should have been on all of them "big bores" ......... but they wouldn't be as special then. Almost everything out west here has a high top filter cover. I love the high speed low drag "fastback" look. Good work!

Yep. This is a 2018 model too.
Gotta love that change. Already a easy saw to work on but now you can fly through em with same size torx fastener on almost everything. I timed myself on disassembly of one and it took me all of 10 minutes taking my time lol. Only thing that sucks is now most of the screws are proprietary like stihl now :(. No more being able to go to napa and get screws out of the bin for a few cents.

Thread pitch, and length is still the same. I have bins of fasteners that still fit. But with allen head of course.
