Finished the Yard Machines 8/26. Rebuilt the carb and did some snowblowing with it. Ran good. Delivering it back tomorrow afternoon.

Changed the oil and plug on the Murray 14.50/29 and also replaced the recoil rope and handle. Did some snowblowing with it as well to get the oil warmed up before I changed it. Just need to do the impeller mod and install the tire chains once they arrive.

Buddy dropped off his new to him Yard Machines 5/22 today for a check over.

Service call last night went well, his machine was missing 2 out of the 4 shear pins and I also changed the oil for him. He didn't even know that the machine came with 2 spare pins. I educated him on it though. Picking up the belts and shear bolts for my new to me Ariens tomorrow after work, last night I got the oil and plug changed.

View attachment 282644 Husky 345 to 350 conversion. Ported 346 to 350 comparisons open port 42mm included just cause. What’s the point? I’ll learn something.

You working on the kitchen table again? Or is that the old table turned work bench?
Asking for a friend.

Did you weld up that handle yourself, it looks good.
It had been welded previously because of what looks like a break at some point. It’s setup for an 044 still. The bottom mounting holes line up and one of the side ones did as well. The handle was a little too wide on the side so I cut a piece of 1/8” flat at to act as a spacer. The top mounting bolt in the picture is tied through so I can get a real good clamp on it. The second mounting bolt is threaded into the stainless flatbar for real positive engagement also. The bottom screw is for extra support and utilizes the factory mounting hole. I went out today and cut some frozen birch and leaned in it pretty good. She is solid and in it for the long haul! Feels like I’m working a mini 044 out there with a ported 036 and the smaller overall size of the saw. Feels good.

Whoohooo! :aaaaa:

My P4 desktop PC is back in business. :)
For safety sake I am making a fresh backup of my digital pictures and videos to my backup memory stick.
If the current cold weather with extreme wind gusts persists I may finally implement the upgrades I have for this PC.
I also need to replace the failing fan on the PSU, luckily it has two so cooling is only marginally jeopardized.

I used my Quad2Core a couple times this week, it is miles ahead of my single core P4 - but my personaly built P4 is very dear to me so I don't mind it being a little slow for certain tasks.

Been sitting AT LEAST 3-4 years.

Yall have any ice up there yet Mark. It's been slick in spots here since Friday with this freezing fog stuff. Trees already have the silver icey look to them.
