For next time, you don't have to remove those two circular parts to be able to defeat the limiters. Just drill out the black 'tits' through the top, that stick down in your second picture. Takes the limiter part out of order, but you can still get a small flat head screwdriver in to tune.

Perfect! Thanks for that tip.... Was wondering about a better way....

Gladly voided my warranty today... I've only run three or four tanks of gas through it and there was browning on the side of the piston... They had it tuned too lean straight from the store.... Least I'm learnin a few things before it's too late for another saw....

You don't need to do anything at all to those carbs. Just use a 2.5mm allen....a long tee handle works best, and apply a little "extra" pressure when it meets the limiter. It will pop over the spline into a new adjustment range. Those limiters are probably the most misunderstood thing on any saw ever built.

Sharpened the chain in the 600. Made a cut through 24 inch red oak. Then cleaned it up and put it away. That the first time a tried cutting with it. Works pretty good. Might have to take it to the bush when i cut down the hickory and give it a work out.

Awesome! Thanks, Randy.... I like the idea of leaving the limiters in anyway because they guide the thin allen, and keep crud out.... I can put them back in and do what you said.... Appreciate it...

Doing some research to find solid front wheels for my zero turn mower. Found some on Amazon that look like they will work. Not much other than that since I sliced my hand open today at work.
