I didn't know quite where to post this but I think I might have got a score on Friday! I caught up with my father's cousin who is now 80 and used to process firewood for a job. I knew he had an 084 and after a few discussions we worked out a deal where I supply him with 4 cord of wood in exchange for the saw:20190830_133435_resized.jpg 20190830_133445_resized.jpg
It runs really well (although very rich) and has great compression but I noticed it wasn't oiling. On inspection I find that it has the older style oil drive:

And it has the springs broken! Someone has also put the later style clutch drum on and ground it to suit the oil pump drive and probably caused the breakage you see above. My question is, can the oil pump drive be upgraded to the later style as per the IPL below and is it a direct changeover?

Hey John. Wanted to thank you in person for the file card, seeing as we haven't had a gtg in forever, I didn't want to forget. I use it, like it and appreciate it. If there's anyway I can repay the favor, lmk.

So, how do you like that Amberboch??? I generally like dark beers, but have not tried that one yet.

Sam Adams Cream Stout and Yuengling Black + Tan are two of my favorites.
It's my personal favorite brew and has been for a long time. I like Killians too, don't like 'em too dark, lol. Guinness = :vomiton:
