Finished up the bar rail closer. Works ausome. The mac d44 i just got goin wouldnt cut at all from chain rocking too much. It cuts perfect now. I didnt wanna buy a new bar for a saw that only comes out couple times a year to play with.

Hope the case is OK … looks like damage near the oil cap.

a new oil cap works ok. just not as smooth as it was. the screw for the muffler pulled out and have Devcon it up and have to redrill the hole and tap it.
the cylinder needs a little TLC on the muffler flange. one bolt is snapped off in there. and the other i managed to undo once i took the mangled front off.
so hopefully not too many more surprised.

Hey, I glued a 460 case and recoil back together (in non critical areas) with Loctite PL Premium several months ago for a Tree Guy, and that saw is still in operation!
