Ain't felt worth a chit the last couple of days. Had the outpatient surgery on my neck last Thurs, guess I caught a damn bug while doing that. Neck's fine though. Ran a fever day before yesterday and yesterday as well...but the appetite is back. Got ten hotdogs on the Traeger...itching for a good ol' chili/cheese and slaw dog. Just letting 'em run on the lowest Smoke setting...then crank 'em up to about 225...see how these bad boys turn out shortly.

Next you need to bacon wrap some brats! Oh yeah -- that is a hot dog on steroids!

Yes it is the real one. I called the guy who makes them up in Mn. and talked to him about them for cold smoking the bacon in my particular smoker. The first one worked real good so I ended up getting another one from him with a few more bags of pellets.

Decided to do a smoke taste test today with a few slices off one of the sides, just about perfect for me, maybe a couple more hours smoke tomorrow and call it done. Mama even raved over it! ( I saved her 2 pieces to taste.) He he he!!

When they run leg qtrs on sale here, all the groceries stores are $.29/lb, some will run them $.19/lb. Sell 'em all in 10lb bags.

I agree. Your chicken is good.
We bought wings last time at Ebels and they got mixed in with other store's wings. We could tell which ones were ebels. They were much more fresh
