I like it lean..
I cook bacon in one cast iron pan and keep the grease for a few batches at least. It Cooks up well lean in all that grease!!

@dolmarkid ...this could be a very lengthy response about the bacon-wrapped onion bombs. Lots of variations of them as far as internal ingredients go, to put on the grill, smoker, or in the oven. Go on-line and search 'onion bomb' or 'bacon-wrapped onion bomb.' If you try them once, you'll make 'em a hundred times. They're damn good on the grill.

Denver style scrambled Eggs with Sautéed red, orange and Green Bell Peppers, Sautéed diced Tomato, Bacon and Cheese. Hash browned Potato's, Bacon and English muffins.
It hit the spot.
