Yeh, it's not the biggest 'family-size' portion Stouffer's offers by no means, especially when compared to their lasagnas. But some good eats. I like adding the grated cheese there at the end, about 10 mins before pulling it.Says family size guess we shall see lol.
All I've ever topped this with is grated mild or sharp cheddar...I wonder how melted provolone or a thick layer of fresh grated parmesan melted would work? I'm thinking maybe even a good layer of prosciutto-wrapped asparagus laid down before the extra cheese hits it at the end might be tasty as well. I think Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus would be outstanding. You might have to blanch the asparagus to make sure it's tender. All I've ever topped this with is grated mild or sharp cheddar...I wonder how melted provolone or a thick layer of fresh grated parmesan melted would work? Agree...or kickstart it in a skillet with a little olive oil, butter, garlic...then wrap and add.I think Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus would be outstanding. You might have to blanch the asparagus to make sure it's tender.
Sounds even better.........there's not much Butter, Garlic, Olive oil and a sautée pan won't improve upon.Agree...or kickstart it in a skillet with a little olive oil, butter, garlic...then wrap and add.

Here's an updated to the minute shot...got tied up doing some BS...they're just kicking back at 150 degs now, waiting on the bathing. Kept 'em pumped down with apple juice/white vinegar/water mix the entire smoke time.
