Thanx for comments on bacon bomb guys.i just got in from crappie fishin actually.its been a good year these were fom few days before x mas been a little slow. Last few weeks with weather up and down hot 7 this evening .oct nov dec were red hot like this View attachment 52835

In this part of the south many country folks call these "crappees" (overemphasized wrong spelling so the pronunciation is realized )

If you are from the north they tend to call them "craw-pees" (again spelling only for emphasis )

Otherwise you have the making of a fine meal with some House Autry fish breader, some french fries, hush puppies and cole slaw. Oh YEAH bring it on!

Wasn't in the mood to slave in the kitchen so I hit Captain D's after work and got a 10-pc family fish meal with hush puppies, coleslaw and green beans for the two sides....with a coupon it was $14.99 so not too bad. And plenty of milk to knock it down with. Couple of pieces of fish, couple of hush puppies and some coleslaw survived so I'll take that for lunch tomorrow.
