I didn't realize I asked about a 550XP..... Also, if you read multiple posts(especially my original post), I am asking about brand new saws.

I recommend a new race ported Husqvarna 550, it feels great in the hands and cuts a cant fast plus what makes it better than a 346xp ne is that you get the joy of voiding a warranty

So it does well in cants, but what [we] want to know Dave is, how well does it do cutting pasture?

I mean its not a small herd of goats but I guess you cant buy either one with Stihl rewards points so I guess they are equal in that regard.

I don't want to get "off topic", but I know you mentioned them....I know the brush clearing heads are nice if you have a ditch or over grown area on your property....at work we have the stuff brisled brush.....in the right setting it's very nice!!!
