Copsey has built the fastest 390s I've seen. A real fast 372 can be close to them too.

Keep in mind that having the fastest saw and chain dont mean squat if any number of other factors step in.

I was afflicted by all three and having the fastest 5 cube didnt help me

The power is only one factor over the blocks .

That aside just depends on what you want to do with it .You could go the 3120 over bore stroker deal and end up with a couple grand in it .You could go with something like an 036 Stihl and have several hundred in it .Keep in mind whatever it is if it's a true alkie burning racer that's all it's ever going to be .It might hold out for a couple of years or have a life of about 30 seconds .

To go up against the 880 I'd vote the 395 unless the 3120 is an option.
