One of them has a defective cylinder.

Plating is lifted a little here.....



And here.....



Looks like something a little more bevel would take care of.....right?

Anyone seen this in an OEM jug before.

It's a Mahle cylinder.

I did a 661 not too long ago which did exactly the same thing by the intake. First time I've seen it between the uppers like that.

I had a new in the box 55 cylinder with poor plating adhesion. It was a Husqvarna branded cylinder, not a Mahle, KS, or Gilardoni. Husqvarna warrantied it no problem.
