What oil is best? and what ratio?

i might mix up a 8ozs of sae 30 to a gallon to see how bad it was in the olde days.

I bought a gallon of VP SEF to use in my edger, trimmer, and blower and mixed it with some HP2, and that is a new level of stink, the exhaust smells like rotten eggs. Not sure if its the fuel or the oil but damn it sure stinks.

I don't remember a weird smell using VP and HP2. I milled up some stuff using over a gallon in a day. Might be all the crap it's cleaning out with the VP. That stuff does clean pretty good.

Proprietary, they claim.

Any saws I store for the summer get the trufuel 40:1. Or any saws I sell or work on for customers leave here with a tank full or a quart with them. I tell them it'll keep the saw running.

I see and understand that, I'm buying 40:1 trufuel quarts (32oz) when they're on sail for under $5. And I don't have the expense of adding oil. That's why I initially asked, what oil in trufuel?

You find a buy on 5 gallon non mix trufuel, please let me know. I have a gas backup generator at the house I'd like to put some good fuel in....as well as mix my own for 2-smokes
