Hi Tim,
I should ask is is FD certified? Does it have the FD certified stamp on the bottle somewhere

We decided to forego the JASO licensing fees some years ago so we replaced the starburst with a “meets or exceeds”. As you know, 2-cycle sales have been on the decline for over a decade now so spending $2,000.00 annually per product doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I can tell you that JASO tests any and all products on the market that make the “meets or exceeds” claim. If your products are not in compliance you will receive a cease and desist letter. Ignore this request and you will face litigation.

I see and understand that, I'm buying 40:1 trufuel quarts (32oz) when they're on sail for under $5. And I don't have the expense of adding oil. That's why I initially asked, what oil in trufuel?

Plus you're fugly Chris.
You need to burn that pic
I guess i should get a PT Cruiser and wear floppy hats to look better.

Maxima K2 .... Is this oil Jaso-FD rated? What are it's ratings?

The Formula K2 is JASO FD, ISO-L-EGD and API TC rated.

Let me know if you have any more questions and thank you for choosing Maxima!

Sincerely,

Tim Schaeffer

He's not being honest. You will not find Maxima on the Jaso list. However, it is good oil.
API TC standard isn't even active anymore.

I would say this is BS.
If you think JASO tests all oils making certain claims, then only takes legal action against this that don't pass their tests I have a bridge I would sell cheap.
