Your talking about Walmart tcw3?I port a saw almost every day and constantly have to run a saw. I put a couple tanks through a couple saws every day. I rarely cut timber anymore,I port full time and have for a very long time.
I see what poor oil at 50:1 does every day.
I've got most of my local customers switched to Walmart oil at 40:1 and I like what they look like inside. It's very good oil.
For 4.99 a quart I'll try changing them over to valvoline. I ran it to see how it was before telling them to switch, it's very good oil and very cheap. Bad gas and orange stihl are what kill the dead saws I see but even that is rare, saws are extremely tough.
No OPE oil. Dino or full synthetic. The full is made by Citgo and the blue bottle by WarrenYour talking about Walmart tcw3?
My deep fryer exploded [emoji20]I'm a couple pages behinds, but any oil related failures today out there?

Blue bottle tcw3Citgo typically makes good Two cycle oil.
However the only oil that I have ever seen at Walmart is TCW3 stuff.
I'm going to Wally World in the morning and I'll try this in my trimmers. Just for the heck of it.View attachment 20856 MSDS states from Citgo, the blue bottle dino from Warren, and the blue bottle tcw3 I have never pulled the MSDSView attachment 20856

Ive seen many trimmers and blowers ran on the Stihl Ultra choked up with carbonAnd I agree with JMS. Stihl orange bottle is wretched junk and expensive junk at that.
