Just ran a couple of tanks of 2R in a 290 that I put in a carb kit in for a customer on the side

Like the color for insurance purposes. Saw seemed to like it, saw runs good just does not have the response of the 7900

I still like the stuff!!!!

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

What does the piston look like? I picked up one of those for cheap but the piston was trashed. I heard those mowers are bulletproof.

it is a scavenged loop piston ported engine. i pulled the muffler to clean the carbon out of the port this piston looks excellent but the frame is junky.
i much prefer a lawnboy deck.

Ok guys I can get Husky oil from the dealer at a good price. He has XP that Husky refers to as their best oil or I can get Low Smoke which is JASO FD certified. Which one do you choose if the price is the same? The MSDS shows that they have the same base components but at different mixtures.

XP is better than the LS oil it burns clean and has no odor that i can detect.

Thanks for the info. I have been using the XP oil but haven't tried the LS yet.
