What oil is best? and what ratio?

Have you ran the citgo oil? Another previous post mentioned it being good and the price catches my eye.
Yep. Mild smell. Semi synthetic, which I like. Purple in color. Seems to burn clean, but I don't have long term experience with it

I might have to try it out once I run out of the saber. Saber seems good so far, but I’m open to trying different oil. If it’s cheaper AND better why not?

I switched back to K2 last year after running HP2 for awhile, it's a good oil just got sick of the smell and it smokes a little more than K2. Plus I like ester oils more. Took apart a saw that sat awhile after running HP2 and it was too dry for my taste.

Still a fan of R50 even with it's drawbacks. If I get back to cutting soon and burn up the K2 I, have I may give Klotz original a try for good measure.[emoji6]

I guess this is the oil thread of all oil threads.[emoji19] lol.

K2 is a ester/ PIB blend and its damn good stuff. Really too good for a saw.
