It makes a blonde roux
See! Many just blew me off for the last year. But it seems to be a pretty solid oil especially for the price.Corey I ran quite a bit of Dolmar in my ht250 and br600 today. Really likin it
More like blue berry reduction or pie filling and stuff. I work night so I miss breakfast alot lol.LOL OIL GRAVEY!!!
Stihl BG55 blower ran on Stihl Ultra @ 50to1. Rings were starting to fill with carbonView attachment 98359 View attachment 98360
BOO good thing I run my bg86 on 40:1 RA FTWStihl BG55 blower ran on Stihl Ultra @ 50to1. Rings were starting to fill with carbonView attachment 98359 View attachment 98360
Typical from what I see internally with Stihl Ultra. The carbon itself isnt bad but the buildup in the ring lands and rings are a problem. I see this more in their blower and small homeowner saws*s-wordty gas.
Ive read that too and john told me that bud good to see some pics thats horrible.Typical from what I see internally with Stihl Ultra. The carbon itself isnt bad but the buildup in the ring lands and rings are a problem. I see this more in their blower and small homeowner saws

Smokey I dont see that buildup in any of the pro saws 50cc and up? The Stihl oil burns dirty no doubt but Im thinkin in the blowers and small homeowners saw that the small diameter arrestor screen surely doesnt help?I have seen alot of carbon buildup on blowers and whips too. Most of the ones i see are running gas station mix or the multimix crap. Seen many with the exhaust port 70-85% blocked off with carbon. Had one come in for a rebuid as owner said was way down on power. Popped off the muffler and couldnt even see the piston. No scores other then some carbon smears. Cleaned it all up even reused rings at .010. Customer saws it runs better then new. I did mod the muffler a little bit lol.
Blowers and trimmers tend to be ran at full throttle for longer periods of time. As a result they get hotter.Smokey I dont see that buildup in any of the pro saws 50cc and up? I read that it only affects blowers and hand helds as well.i bought a qt to try once it made my saws stink i quit using itSmokey I dont see that buildup in any of the pro saws 50cc and up? It does stink im waiting to give my remaing qt away.i also remember when 4 mix was brought out it.they were having all sorts of problems with it.Blowers and trimmers tend to be ran at full throttle for longer periods of time. As a result they get hotter.
Ultra was a band aid for the design compromises made for the 4 mix engine line.
I wouldnt run that crap if it were givwn to me. Not to menrion thw fact it smells terrible. Like burnt plastic.
Using flashpoint and viscosity to judge the suitability of a two cycle oil is severly flawed.
