What oil is best? and what ratio?

Hmmmm. The stuff I got is like a clear translucent brownish color. It is stringy, but I have used better. But for $6 a gallon, I use it. Lol

The heat thins them out so much here i wish they were thicke.ive been using sthil orange.im bout to try amsoil.loggers pride is good sticky chit if you can find it.its pretty cheap.

Cheap bar oil is good bar oil. When In as logging I ran the chit out of Wal-Mart Supertech, but also used hy-tran, motor oil, etc in a pinch. Never had abnormal bar wear and didnt lose tips except in the winter when the tip was exposed to snow on a regular basis.
