Lucas
Ive used a good bit of Lucas in yard equipment and dirtbikes. It sustained a ported CR85 racing with no problemsLucas
So what's your take on it now? Awhile ago, I thought you said never again. Seems a tad dry for residual oil. But that could be the color. Piston looks ok.Lucas
I know he use to keep count on a toolbox but as much as he runs I bet he hasnt kept up with it latelyLike to know how many tanks at 25:1 were run through? What saw?

Matt ran it some, and I have 2 gallons of this Lucas crap, so I ran it on a tank after it came home.So what's your take on it now? Awhile ago, I thought you said never again. Seems a tad dry for residual oil. But that could be the color. Piston looks ok.
Saw is a 661, non M-Tronic at the moment. A bunch of tanks, totaling 7 hours of hard run time with a 36" and 404, plus the big guy racing itLike to know how many tanks at 25:1 were run through? What saw?

That was just for the Echo, before I started running Hardline and Works tach/hour metersI know he use to keep count on a toolbox but as much as he runs I bet he hasnt kept up with it lately
I dont keep up very well or try to. I just run them with kl200 or RA and dont worry about it. As far as the rpm I dont run a tach anymore but just tune a safe tune and listen to the saw in cut and a slight off cut pressure 4 strokeMatt ran it some, and I have 2 gallons of this Lucas crap, so I ran it on a tank after it came home.
I wasnt sure, but now I am certain.
Oil wise, it lubes OK, I have seen better for 25:1
Storage wise its horrible, there was a bucket full of water inside it, everywhere I looked, it might as well have taken a swim in a lake

Fog them!I know Keith, its hard enough for me to keep up with my own crap !
I've got gallons of KL200, gallons of Lucas, Gallons of K2, .............. and I cant believe that I'm actually considering buying more 2 cycle oil
Yup, I am considering Yamaha 2R.
Some of my 2 cycle stuff sits for the winter. I aint worried about the gas, I'm worried about the dang oil attracting moisture, like I pictured. Everywhere the water was beading, the aluminum was turning black. Shoot, Lawn Boy oil didnt do this. Maybe I'll go back to that ?
Where is Ben ????
@bwalker - what do you suggest ?
No 2t will prevent that completelyThe oil will still attract moisture
