Tjanks Keith for the info but next time I go to home depot I'll grab a bottle and try it I have enough oil now as it is to last me a couple years. Some one should make and sale a variety pack .

Any thoughts on leaded fuels? Also what about race gas? I can buy 100 octane non e at the pump. The other non-e is 87. Opposite ends of the spectrum lol. I burn the 100 in my race bike at 40:1 mixed with Amsoil Dominator. The four mix weed beater didn't like it to good. Thinking the high octane caused a cooling effect, therefore not burning all the oil, i.e. caused a lot of carbon build up. 87 mixed with Dominator at 50:1 burns clean, no issues.

@Isaac

Search for a thread done by Redbull661. Julian did extensive testing on fuel. I believe non e 87 octane fuel is a better alternative than the 100 octane.

Husqvarna caned fuel claims the fuel drops 2pts. after blending.
That's dependant on oil and mostly determined by the diluent used IMO. Oils that use lots of Stoddard solvent as a diluent no doubt provide for lower octane when mixed.
