What oil is best? and what ratio?

Should be mixed with .64 gallons if you want a perfect 32:1 ratio....jus sayin'

bottle says .65 and i wash the bottle.

I buy it by the gallon and funnel it into a quart oil jug with a window. 10oz - 2.5 gallons. Easy peasy. Different strokes

Not exactly decanting, so I have no problem with it.

But I really have no desire to handle any chemical multiple times. It just doesn't make sense to me. Limiting exposure (chemical to oneself and contaminating the product) is overall a good practice.

I have been running amsoil saber at 40:1 for a couple years and been happy with it. Tried klotz r50 at 40:1 out of my dirtbike can and it seemed to slow my saw down a lot.

We always ran 50:1 with premium 91 octane 100% fuel no ethanol here. Never had bearing failures ever.

But it always did catch my curosity on why it used to be 2.6 oz per gallon and on some of the cheaper oils around they changed it to 3.0 oz per gallon. Always wondered why. Just to be safe is my guess...

I am fortunate enough to have access to 91 octane ethanol free as well.

The stations here all have a big sign out front that says "Ethanol Free Fuel Here", well you stop and look and its only their 91 octane premium fuel lol. Some places admit to having ethanol in their premium and keep a ethanol free sign up.

That fuel wouldn't be my first choice, nor my 2nd. VP c-12 is a good fuel for a two stroke.
