Has anyone torn down a saw that exclusively ran Husky XP oil? I can get this oil from my local mom & pop Husky/Scag dealer. They know me by name, have gone out of their way to help me out, and have cut me discounts on a bunch of equipment. I don't mind paying $18 a 6 pack of 2.5gal mix bottles since they have taken care of me. I have used this oil it's a pretty blue color and it has almost no smell. No ratings on it of any kind.

No I haven't. I'm going to guess it's close to the klotz lite for rc planes.
Not sure.
I know it's a bit thinner so it can flow in sub-freezing temps.
Also has rust inhibitors, which from my understanding not all Klotz has.

I may try it when I finish the Saber off. I've got enough left for 1 gallon of fuel. Been going back and forth with it and klotz of all kinds.
I have milled about 4 gallons with it so far .power rolls on nice and it cleans up quick ,the 440 likes it also ,does not leave the saber soot in the muffler can .Only dislike is the bottles are for 50 to 1 so i dump them in amsoil bottles to measure the mix .
4o to 1 will spooge a little under light loads, but not as much as saber did ,heavy loads it burns clean .Tuning was close ,maybe 1/8 of a turn off or so ,had to lean it a bit from the saber .

I'll give it a try sometime this winter.
