Dang they need to decide worldwide??!! Lol!!Yeah mine says that too. My 2260 manual says minimum 90 octane.

Not too convincing is it? Im alil puzzled with Autotune and Mtronic saws and how 1 saw will burn the oil differently than the next. Im not so sure thoso saws are the right choice for testing oils vs 1 carb saw tuned the same way with each oilExactly. But the funny part is that the 562 and 2260 have the same motor and 1 requires at least 87 and the other requires 90.
That's very strange that your wet with a 562. I have ran mine down to 20:1 and it never got wet. In fact I posted pics on the other site of the muffler at 20:1 and it was bone dry and light brown/tan.I have no idea Jake as I have only used silver bottle full synthetic supertech and liked it in ope. It looks from the MSDS to be Citgo distributed. Ill continue to use kl200 in my saws as I have seen no need to change . Seems my new 562xp autotune is rich and alil wet at 40to1 with kl200 compared to my regular carb saws but more time will tell
The only oil my Walmart has in the color bottle is the TCW3 stuff. Just looked.here is the back of the bottle.

Im not sure Ben but its not what Im use to seeing with kl200. Could be the saw not broken in? Maybe they program it for so many hours of use before leaning it?That's very strange that your wet with a 562. I have ran mine down to 20:1 and it never got wet. I think 87 makes more powerI always ran 91 until a month or so ago I switched to 87.

Thats my opinion also. I believe the short stroke of a saw with the 87 combusting sooner gives more complete combustion87 runs hotter than say 93 but I don't know if it makes power, makes heat and usually heat is power.
I guess it would depend on compression and ignition timing and several other variables.
Only problem with that theory is that synthetics have better scuff resistance so there is no need for high additive treat rates. One thing I believe effects those insisting on full synthetics and high oil ratios that some folks recommend is that 2T oil blenders in order to get acceptable scuff resistance from synthetics load them up with additives. You change the oil blenders reccomended 50:1 ratio to 32:1, you are now running near double the chemical, detergent and metallic additive into your saw engine. This can definitely have negative effects that are not desirable.
