Would you say that's leaking from the pic? I would of thought there shouldn't be any spoogy mess coming out from what looks like the centre of the plug. Any of your saw plugs look like that? That's not horrible for the 800. I would check the decomp to see if it's tight or just block it off if it is leaking.
It's not motul in that one. I don't know if they've ever really said. I prefer the 40:1 trufuel for canned fuel.Again not to derail the thread again but does anyone know what oil they put un the Truefuel 50:1. My father only uses that stuff in is 336FR brushcutter
I tought I read somewhere here or on Another Forum that it was Motul 800T.
I can tell you guys that Irun Motul 710 (40:1) in all my saws now and the smell is nowhere close to 710. Put 6 thanks in my 562 and 545 this morning and after lunch I am using the brushcutter. What a pleasant smell
Thanks

Normal and its the reason I plug them with a brass plug. Also noticed this oily residue/carbon coming out of the decomp plug....is that normal or is it leaking? It's never used for starting.
Nothing stand out in those plugs. The wetness is probaly from idling or low load prior to shut down.Plug out of my 550xp only ever run 800 @ 40:1.... Looks kinda dirty to me. Thoughts? Also the piston seems to have a fair bit of carbon on it considering not a huge amount of run time.
I've read about the rust on MX forums but have never seen it personally.I have never used dominator, the warnings about rust always scared me off it. I'm sure it's great oil tho. Klotz is a oil I don't think I have ever ran maybe I should try it.

I could see in a boat or snowmobile it makes sense if there isn't rust inhibitors but not sure how a dirt bike under normal conditions would get moisture in it.
The guys i've known to use it have never had a problem. YMMV i guess.
Yeah i suppose it could, but enough to create rust? I guess if it sat for a while.Atmospheric humidity
And the whole warming and cooling thing usually causes condensation
Many dirt bike cranks show evidence of corrosion. And ester oils in general are pretty poor at preventing rust.I've read about the rust on MX forums but have never seen it personally.

That looks more like what kl200 does for me. Wonder why no wash marks? Combusting more completely?Few gallons of benol 40:1View attachment 22154
