Nope. Probably a real hard steel ring. Synthetics aren't the best to break in any way. I used to keep orange bottle stihl around to run a gallon through a saw first. They seemed to pick up compression quicker that way.Looks like one that didn't break in well.
I agree,if your going to break in on super oil you need to get nasty with it.Nope. Probably a real hard steel ring. Synthetics aren't the best to break in any way. I used to keep orange bottle stihl around to run a gallon through a saw first. They seemed to pick up compression quicker that way.
Ive already heard Klotz batteries r better
Yikes! That's like swearin' in church around here!I have no want, need or desire to.
Its not for everyone....like church, never been there other than for a wedding or funeral.Yikes! That's like swearin' in church around here!

I have to admit a 550xp with a MM was pretty darn sporty but ported it gets nasty!!!Night and day is what the difference is.
Its waaaaaay deeper than that Rick.I Never run a ported saw , never heard a tree tell me my saw was too slow either. Mixing oil is simple for me, pour contents of stihl ultra in jug three and half gallons of gas and bingo, it's done.
Yeah for some I guess it is, I like things simple. two bottles and gas. been doing that for years. But I don't cut cookies either. Its waaaaaay deeper than that Rick.
After the 441 I have decided that 40:1 Benol should be pretty sufficient.I've went back to 3 oz a gallon.
I don't think a saw tunes as good at 32:1 as it does at 40 or 50:1.
3 Oz to a gallon with the oil in run works perfect
Dumonde and hp2 were fine at 32:1. They're a lot thinner than some of these other oils.
I ran a 346 dan henry ported for a whole summer a few years back at 50:1 with stihl oil and it never blew..the guy who bought it off of me does the same and it still runs good...im probably failing to see the advantage to these bike oils at thick ratios..every one i tried at 32:1 just oozed out the exhaust..seemed like a total waste to me.
I call BSAhem .......Chainsaw oil tunes out in a chainsaw at 32 to 1 ,the dumone dtp did also but that is expensive exotic oil ,the mobil wasn't bad but left a damp muffler can so some was not getting burned off enough .
When i swapped from bike oil to chainsaw oil ,my plug was so black and rich without retuning ,i thought something was wrong with it ,till i adjusted the carb to stock settings and tweaked from there ,i also have a wider tuning range without extra 4 stoking noise with saw oil .
Klotz rules by the way
