Both look dirty burning (Klotz & HP2) but great lubrication.[/QUOTE
It's got carbon on the piston crown like it's supposed to, tuned properly and burning the oil looks like that. If it doesn't have carbon it's not burning it.
Can you hear the broken record playing there Ron660?
Its not burning dirty, its burning correctlyBoth look dirty burning (Klotz & HP2) but great lubrication.
I would be interested to see what the wash patterns would do @ say 55to1 with KlotzSaw was ran on Original Techniplarlte before it was shipped... piston looks great!!!
Saw will be fed 927, Super Techniplate, or Benol. At 45:1
927 and Benol are locally available.
Saw sounds extremely strong as well!!!!
Sent from my non internal combustion device.
Figure 45:1 won't hurt if lol.I love the smell of benol and vp 93.
I'll fill the woods with it and everybody always says, damn that smell good.
The pics of the 661 are benol at 50:1,everything is drenched in oil so less could probably be used.
I forgot to add a pic of the muffler, it's bone dry all but just around the port.
It's doing just as it should.
Burning correctly isn't the question. There's a lot cleaner oils than that. But if you like that type of piston crown deposits go for it. Not me.Its not burning dirty, its burning correctly
Define clean burning. What do like to see? A clean piston is a saw running too rich or oil not burning completely.Burning correctly isn't the question. There's a lot cleaner oils than that. But if you like that type of piston crown deposits go for it. Not me.
