Bought a JD 470G & a Cat 335, have another 335 and a 349 on rent. And a couple wheel loaders not pictured. Case wheel loaders suck, except for the front windshield that’s awesome to see out of.

A little out of the ordinary today. Erie-Strayer MG-12CP central mix portable batch plant for slipform paving. It can do 400 yards an hour but we’re far from using it today.

Sunset casting a nice light as I stepped off the 325 after wallowing in the mud doing some assorted odds and ends with no other operator available. This is a good, clean straight 325F, and that’s hard to find sometimes in fleets… They’re reduced tail swing but people always seem to think they’re smaller than they are and cab corners get beat up as well as front steps.

I’m not sure why, but I’ve always thought that was the most attractive pose an excavator would be in. It’s also maybe the easiest to get on and off the machine and as I start to get a little older I appreciate having the grouser pads to stand on. :nusenuse:

Digging rock with the 325 and spending a little bit of time in a shiny Link-Belt 355 hammering rock installing utility vaults to clear a conflict found late in the game. We have that machine on rent with just the hammer, but we also have some water lines to relocate in the area as well, so had to get some buckets in rent as well. Turns out it’s hard to get a 42” bucket for one here…

Got to get in a D6T on a fill pad yesterday for a little while, I’d forgotten how nice a tractor those really are.
