Next week is our small town "Razzle Dazzle" Christmas kick off with lighting of the city tree. The tree just happens to be in the middle of the intersection of Main Street and State Street, I am on the SW corner of the intersection.





My granddaughter is painting my front window in preparation for the big celebration.

This is a "live" display with a clock motor to turn the chain and a crank to swing the saw up and down.

Another thing that’s cool is the old Stihl advertisement of the 020av that a disk spins around making it look like the chains moving and throwing chips off the log

The poulan moving saw is pretty awesome and I’m sure it’s rare too, I’ve liked chainsaws my whole life and as a young kid my favorite 2 brands were Stihl and poulan. I know kinda strange since they’re kind of polar opposites. Had a green poulan toy chainsaw wirh a bb chain on it that I played with all the time.

wow. looking at this feels like I've stepped back into one of the old dealerships that were still around the region, bout 40 years ago.
just missing a few deer heads and antlers. Jackalope maybe?
Housing developments or "Executive office Park" where most of them once stood.

This patch popped up on eBay recently.



Evidently no one else was interested so I got it for a reasonable price.

Added it to the wall in my office.



Then someone sent me these photos today.

I just happen to have one of the moped engines in my display already.





The mopeds utilize a friction drive with that "stone" in contact with the moped tire.

Our bike had such a front-wheel drive it certainly had a smaller engine too

Jay Hansen was kind enough to send me a full wrap handle bar for the SEZ. I can say with I high degree of certainty I have the only one on the block.





I have some space for another Homelite as some point in the future.
