I saw in hotsaws101 video he fitted a small k an n with some kind of velocity stack under the hood. Be nice to see one of our members sell a kit or something for 7900/7910.@mortilitool ... Will the 7900/10 stack fit under a HD cover? Are these less restrictive than the factory HD throat?
I am in the process of modifying it. It’s all together, just waiting on a fuel line and few smalls. When I have a saw apart I usually do all the lines to start fresh.Where's all the vids of this new saw? Come on now, your slipping bud. Lol
Yup, 550xpeee!Excellent!!! 550 you say???
As in xp husky???

I am not 100% sure if it will fit under the HD cover. I will do some testing once I have that adapter/vstack figured out and in my hands. It is indeed on its way though. I just have a few other irons in the fire before I can take on another adapter/vstack.
Nice! Thanks for posting that.6 minute mark
Just a thought, maybe something like the 550 setup you made would work for the 7900, the 7900/7910 has a av buffer socket the end of the intake plugs into. This way it would still work. Or maybe just 3D printing the entire intake piece is possible and would be better?Nice! Thanks for posting that.
