Used Saw Value?

Just looking for opinions on the value of a used 372 XP. I don’t really need it given I have an MS 400, but given the legendary reputation of this model, I’m considering adding it to the collection. Appears to have been used very little. Sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong place!

I agree, the dump won't even take them...they are sitting in my scrap pile with the Poolans!!

Seriously...add it to your collection. You'll find it will get a lot of use. Ported, they are monsters but a basic muffler mod will wake it up quite nicely.
If not...you'll find several here interested in buying it

It's worth whatever you are willing to comfortably pay for it.

If it’s really near new and in perfect condition it’s probably worth $600, maybe more. But you probably won’t have much luck selling at that price. People always want a deal. $450-500 is more likely.

I bought a well used 372 and a 390 for $750 last year. Rebuilt both, nice saws.
Stumpshot just finished porting the 372 for me last week. Spent more on him than the cost of the saw

$750-$800 CDN if it truly is that clean and has that low of use.
A good 372xp will fill the gap between your MS400 and 390xp quite nicely

If it's what they say, I wouldn't be embarrassed to pay $800 CD . I believe a new one cost me $700 U.S. 25 years ago

Okay so this guy has his 372 XP on Marketplace with a single photo. It's been sitting on there for months. His ad for the saw says "No clue bar size" like he's too stupid or too lazy to figure it out. I send him a message saying hey interested in your saw, how about a few more pics. He says if you want pics just use Google and you can see what the saw looks like.

Hate to say it but either this guy is a complete idiot or he's a scammer (or both). Sadly, I guess that means I'm moving on from this one although i will keep my eyes open for another!

if its been on there a while and it isnt too far of a drive, it might be worth the time to take a look in person, you may be able to leverage the length of time its been for sale to your advantage, cash in hand offers trump electronic message BS offers all day

If it’s on Facebook marketplace I don’t even bother inquiring. It’s all scammers or stolen *s-word.
Kijiji I’ve had much better luck with, met some excellent people.
Atleast in my neck of the woods I should say.
