So rookie mistake but I installed the wrong oiler bolts and it magically turned the saw into a Husqvarna 372. I didn't know that until after cool down from the first run. I went and opened the muffler to look at the piston and that's when I see a piece of the crank case looking at me from on top of the piston.
Here's what I find crazy about it. Nothing was damaged. Not a scratch on the piston or cylinder. All 3 crank bearings roll with no gritty feeling. Nothing besides the two oiler bolts screw slots. I had the saw running for a solid 5 mins. Revving and idle plus letting it eat some oak.
So moral of this post is be careful or you'll have a huskihl in your hands.
