Hey Bob you and Walt bringing your Johnny 900 series saws to gtg? My 930 will be there. Be nice to see a bunch of old johnnys running.

Marshy....if you can clean the case halves and get them ready to accept bearings and a gasket. ..I'll have that case together in a jiffy.

I can cold press the bearings in too

If you don't want to do that....then I guess I'll bring my torch....your case...your call.

Yeah good idea, let's do that! Maybe I'll bring the 90 too. Fun to go off in a different direction from the everyday saws.

Trade Bait: dolmar black and white 112 needs a piston, new USG Stihl grinder with hedge shear attachment, older USG with brand new motor and cap in box, 4'x5' metal stihl sign nice, 5'x6' lighted Stihl sign panels (2 different ones including mega rare 044 panel), beautiful, all original great running 044 10mm slant fin, metal lawn boy and snapper signs (about 2'x5'), ms200t runners, runner 350, ugly runner 372xp, ported 066, 064, 044, 046, 241, 441, ported MS660 in a box with needed parts, minty gorgeous all original 031 with original print on windsor speed tip bar and original metal hinge Stihl case, Poulan pro NOS hard nose bars for a gorgeous dsiplay, rolls of oddball chain, .058 and 1/4" and other wacky *s-word, so much stuff i dont really need
I dont have much time before i leave but if someone has a Solo Twin (i need some parts), BP-1 or pioneer twin or super twin I am open to all kinds of negotiation.

Again, giving deference to the man. I've seen mention over the years that he doesn't work on saws at GTG's... so thats fine. I won't make him do anything he doesn't want to do. But I'm not gonna be upset if he looks at me and says ..."move aside son" ....

I'd be happy to just get the lower end together on this saw. If we do that I'll see if I can slap the rest together at the gtg quickly and make a runner out of it.

I was just kidding about the porting. If someone was knowledgeable and wants to take it on I would entertain it though, your call. My only request would be just don't half ass it, I want a working saw in the end lol.

I'll put the degree wheel on her and everything Marshy, but I'm sure there are peoples at the gtg that are more knowledgeable than me about porting and I have no problem with constructive criticism ... I love to learn, and as long as thats the approach...I'm down.
