Ya that side I started on was way softer than the side you started on!It always seems like the west side has faster wood. Maybe the sun changes it? I'm sure they came off the stack in the same orientation. I remember the west side was faster even in the morning when we raced 201T's.

That was Poplar and that is usually very consistent!Maybe a change in wood variety is in order, something more consistent? Hardwood?

Eh, only way to equalize them is to rip in half lengthwise and flip the top half around and clamp...The stump end is always gonna be denser. We probably should cut each one in half and put the center out to start.
