I think I got the right balance of video quality, bandwidth, and frame rate for the GTG live stream. See video here:
This is an edited clip from livestream of me looking like a dang fool again but when I swing my arms around quick and wave the hat in front of the camera it doesn't go pixelized at all.
This is 720p (1280x720 resolution) with 24 frames per second (NTSC quality I guess) and streaming with between 2 and 2.5 Mbps bandwidth. I'm pretty sure I've got the camera set for the same settings as the streaming software -- the camera itself can be setup up to 4Mbps bandwidth and 30 fps 1080p which would be a bit much but we could try that too.
Wifi AP (Ubiquiti rocket that can hit clients at 50 km!) w/ directional panel should be here today. I'll set that thing up on a tripod outside and bolt camera to a tree on battery and try to piss rev some saws for you guys provided gear arrives before sundown and I get it all working... Steve I'll bring a couple of tripods and PVC poles to the GTG if that ends up being the easiest way to mount stuff. We may want the camera a bit higher on the tree or power pole and I've got wire to extend from battery box on the ground up to the camera.
Having fun with this, but want to get back to that 365 special that needs it's new crank installed![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
