That saw wore a 28" all day.
Had I put the Dolly set up on it, I'm sure it woulda cooked your Mak
hmm... Against the Dolkivarna yea it would win... Dolkivarna is set up for torque under load of a 42" bar not a 20-28". I'm honestly amazed it pulls as good as it does for shoving the wrong cylinder under the hood.

I made the smart move of putting the little missus in charge of picking the hotel.
It wasn't cheap but when we opened the door and she said "it's beautiful, let's come back next year" I knew it was money well spent :)
As Nate said "God willin' and the water don't rise" I'll be back.

Keep in mind the creek rising is an actual problem here...

The guy between Paragon and me is Ray (RedRay46 from AS); he's from Long Island. I've been trading with him for 7 years now. Super nice guy and one of the main reasons I came to NY GTG (besides picking saws from Steve and running some big CC saws). He sold me my first Makita 9010! Maybe next year I'll make it over to the race cants for some fun.

The specs of that model aren't impressive at all for a saw that size, at 5.1 kW/6.94 hp.

This is one of those times when numbers don't tell the story. How many saws have you run that were impressive but less so on paper?? If I had the $$$ I'd rather have that Echo 1201 over a 3120xp or 880/088/084, and I've run my fair share of the later. i'd love to put some more hour's on that echo and see what she's like broke in! I've never been into echo's but that one hauled the mail home
