That thing doesn't change note...just holds steady RPM and keeps going..
Looks like a damn nice saw.


Sunday was the first time it was put in wood. I fired it off friday night
for the first time. Started in three pulls with an empty carb. I was impressed.
We didn't even put a half tank through it sunday so it ain't even close to
being broke in. It's wearing a new GB 42 incher with Oregon 68LX super
chisel round ground. Fresh loop i spun up. The log was almost 40 inches.
The saw to me pulls hard like a freight train. It was a blast to run.

Some have said the AV isn't much improved over the 460 - and the 460 is a real vibe monster....

Of course it doesn't matter much on a "cookie" saw.

But you're right Nikko: I don't run a saw for a living: I just run one as much as I can when I'm not on the job.

My 460 wasn't too bad.

Thanks for the tip on the Vibs: I'll keep that in mind if I ever need a cookie saw. [emoji6]
