Hey, I'm part Italian, I talk with my hands!

My favorite local tree guy uses 460s almost exclusively, including his climber and from the bucket. They are very reliable, hard working saws.

You can debate the benefits/disadvantages of Spring vs Rubber AV till the cows go home, some people prefer one, some the other, and others like me don't think it's a big deal.

I think a good running ported saw with sharp square file chain is always smoother!

Saws w/o AV bother me fast, especially in cold weather, but I think rubber AV works just fine.

I blame Mr.Evans for its engine speed.
I would also like to blame @mdavlee for the head start on the chain & answering all my stoopid questions via text ( you too @Hedgerow )

There was a previous pic of me running Dave's 084. It ran great... In soft wood I would have knocked the rakers down a smidge more so it would self-feed a little quicker. Chain is the only thing slowing that saw down!

That saw wore a 28" all day.
Had I put the Dolly set up on it, I'm sure it woulda cooked your Mak

I didnt even realize you took that pic! LOL... It was a good thing I got some zzzz on the way back to Cleveland for sure! Did I beat you home dave? I made it back at 8:30am CST...

Hopefully get some more Iowan's on board for next year!
