I converted the wife’s new range to propane. The boys can bring it in the house tomorrow when they all get here

I already played Santa - we did a toy/clothing drive for needy kids in our area through work - each of us got names of boys/girls that need
clothes, shoes, toys, school supplies, etc. We went out and bought stuff and wrapped it and then two guys from our work delivered everything.

Every year I wait till late Christmas Eve to write "Christmas Letters" for the family (favorite memories from the past year involving the recipient). Right now I'm on #2 of #5. Coming up with emotions, then putting them on paper is tough so I wait until I have plenty of last minute panic since that helps me write better. Last night I was doing a piss-poor job of wrapping stuff at midnight, and I was starting a letter at 3 a.m.

We always say we’re just buying for the kids. We don’t really need anything because if we want some thing during the year we just buy it. We usually buy for each other anyways. Last year i bought her a Trek mountain bike she wanted and she bought me a Sitka hunting jacket.

we spent a bunch of money this year on the house and said we werent going to get each other anything and i think i have spent more money this year on xmas than ever before.... lol

The wife and I agreed years ago that we wouldn't buy Christmas gifts for each other and decided we would use that money to help others in need. We like to donate to the battered women's shelter. Underprivileged kids and people we know that are struggling.
