She ain't a looker, but she is fast where it counts :)

Ugly Betty was built in May of 2016 by Jason at JMS Saws.
Stock 064 with a new KS OEM MS660 cylinder and a Meteor 288 piston, New oem Walbro WJ-69 carb with oversize OEM main jet, a Squarefile Velocity Stack and a Green Meanie air filter.
In this video she is wearing a slinky silver custom 16" 3/8 bar and a "practice" 60DL 3/8" chain by Mike Lee.
Just a quick couple cuts in a poplar 10 x 10

I took her to the PA gtg and a few guys got to run her, but I forgot to give her a proper introduction here when I got back.

i want one for a 350 in a .325 configuration.
I don't think there is any pitch for a roller nose, only guide tooth gauge. I believe that is the utility of them. You can go from 3/8, .325, and picco and only change the rim sprocket. As long as they are all .050 or whatever the size of the rail groove. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Another great saw Jason. That things an animal.

Roller nose bars are the next level of CAD :)
At this point I have two of them for large mount Stihl (084, 075), two for the small mount Stihl (026, 044, 064 etc.) one each for small and large mount Husky.
They are hard to find as they haven't been made in a long time.
I have some NOS bars that a buddy helped me find and then I had them modified to fit popular mounts.
I plan to stick them on the Bay soon if I can ever stop posting on forums long enough to get some work done :)

I am developing a pretty bad Bar habit, I collect small bars with pristine printing for display, large old engraved bars for display, roller nose bars for racing stuff. Like I said just another level of CAD :)

The short roller nose bars are getting hard to find, but fortunately Cannon is re-popping NOS roller nose assemblies.

If you can find them, the best ones to get are the Oregon "Universal" mount in 17" and 21". They were made for about twelve years from around 1960 to 1972 and use the 2 3/4" roller nose.

The old Remingtons and Pioneers ran a lot of roller nosed bars, both short and long, they may have been used with .404 chain back then but that won`t stop anyone from running/using any pitch chain you want with them.

I have one of those roller nose bars that came off a clinton d55. I wonder if I can make it fit any of my saws?
