Perfect size for hand cutting.
Perfect size for hand cutting.
Blue/red, this one didn't have many though; thank God, or I'd look like I went to warDoes that tree have blue berries on it?
91% and 74 right now, but there's a storm moving in lol.Jeesh, that's almost as bad as here..
I had heard that the UP has beautiful weather!![]()
The swing set made for a nice temporary log jack.91% and 74 right now, but there's a storm moving in lol.
Managed to get two loads of brush out and got them burned, also got the tree on the ground and the neighbors all cleaned up(it was over the fence and I pulled a trailer and a half out of there).
Hope to have all the wood out tomorrow, but there's a good chance of rain so we'll see how that goes.
They said they didn't care about the swingset, so I just left it there since it was also secured to the ground and it had a good bit of pressure on it.

There's actually part of the branch that was supporting the tree that I left about a ft long(the one next to the swing set in the 1st pic). Heading there now to remove the last of the brush and start on the logs, hope to be finished today. The swing set made for a nice temporary log jack.
Thanks I think I have roughly 2-3 mil bd ft total on the saw. Idk for sure I never kept track of stuff like that. I figure 2-3 years on a logging saw is 10 years for a firewooder. I swapped the shortblock about 150 hours ago when it got that tsumura bar on it (it’s a tsumura you just can’t see any of the paint anymore). Pto bearing wore out. Still original topend, piston, carb, ect.Nice job Mason. That 572 really slaying them down.
