Finally got a chance to run the Makita! 42" bar for size reference. Right around 100' tall.

This was a pin oak that was about 100' tall. It was right in the middle of this guy's freshly planted and mulched flower bed. We had to rig out every single branch and had to billet it down 30 ft before we were able to drop the trunk.

I already have most of the branches out in this picture.

A quick pick at 75ft after I topped it.

Got a few down here at the house, now the shed is back in place, just need to level it all back out and reinstall the front porch and build a ramp into the side door. Sounds like more work lol.
Whoops lol.

Cut just below the ground and then added more topsoil.

My dad had an oak on the property line that didn't come back this year. It was leaning toward the neighbors house and driveway. We pulled it toward the back yard with ropes and a truck and wedged it over. I didn't want to rely on just the ropes. Not pretty, but it fell where intended. I'll take that any day of the week.
