Trees you've cut

Yesterday. Nothing special about these trees, just happened to be close to my pack so I shot a video and pulled some screenshots off it

Had to come out of retirement to help my old track coach, not a technical tree by any means but I haven’t climbed since I was 64 I’m 69 now felt good to be back up in the trees again! He asked me if I could do it off a ladder I just laughed said no I will borrow a saddle from a friend of mine.

Awesome job ! I cut blow overs in the winter . I know what it's like to climb up them trees when there is snow and ice on them . I'll be lucky to be alive at your age , yet alone climbing up trees . Stay safe up there , you are the man !

That was a live Tree that grew that way, growing towards the Sun.

Big Hickory, its amazing hold much hold you get with these . I bore cut it with a 32" and wanted it to go fast to the ground as it had a storm broken top entangled with an oak tree.

I know my landscape trees better than natives, so all I know is that it waas loaded with Hickory nuts.
Unfortunately its located down a nature trail so it'll be moved to the side after bucking up. Trees get pretty big in the parks.

Started going pretty quick, I got outta there.

Chestnut Oak is one of my favorite trees to mill. Real nice wood (White Oak Family).

Everyone be careful out there. This was a good friend of mine, and I fixed his saws. He was always meticulous and careful, but he died (way too early) when one of the supports on his bucket truck hit a soft spot and went over.
