New wedges I made worked well. I think I had that thing jacked open nearly 3” before it went. Banged until I couldn’t…no more in summer. Next ones are getting the winch!

Was telling a few of you guys about having to take this one down. Was a sad day but it needed done. Was starting to shed limbs. Didn't want one of my kids getting hurt. Going to miss the shade but I'd rather not chance injury or death.
The last limb/spar whatever you would like to call it. Will stay until the temps drop and I can cut the trunk off flush. Going to use it as leverage to pull it over some and take weight off my bar. If that doesn't look like it will work. I'll cutout the backside and use a rail track jack my dad has. Damn willow trees get WIDE!

Dropped it and cut into 20’ pieces and loaded whole tree on F700 with forklift…beats piecing it down and handling branches.
