Now, I ran this saw for the first time this morning and it has SO MUCH TORQUE! It's quite amazing actually. Now one thing I notice, that with only .020 off the key that I'm getting some 'popcorn' at higher RPM, which goes away when the revs come down in the cut. The red light works as it should and comes on at 12,000 and the limiter cuts the revs at 13,500, as it should, but my question to all those 066 buffs out there, is does the coil have a substantial built-in advance? Apart from lots of compression, I have had no difficulty starting it and it hasn't 'bit' me yet.
