What a gem, I had a chance at a 066 when I first got in to saws. But I hesitated and my boss traded it in at the local stihl shop. He probably got 50 bucks for it towards a 461/201t. They also have a decent amount of 200t's and 201t's still laying around. Maybe this winter I'll take the 200t carcasses.

That is awesome man. My Tree Monkey 066 is my favorite saw in my fleet.

You're going to love that thing after a few tanks of fuel thru her!

I gotta see how many they got, atleast 2 of them maybe more. Atleast 4 201t carcasses. If there is enough parts to spare one I'll be in touch. Carbs are there and bottom ends most likely they just got dropped or pinched and ripped the av mounts/bent handle bars

I forgot to ask, which tool did you use for the rivet nuts?

Now, I ran this saw for the first time this morning and it has SO MUCH TORQUE! It's quite amazing actually. Now one thing I notice, that with only .020 off the key that I'm getting some 'popcorn' at higher RPM, which goes away when the revs come down in the cut. The red light works as it should and comes on at 12,000 and the limiter cuts the revs at 13,500, as it should, but my question to all those 066 buffs out there, is does the coil have a substantial built-in advance? Apart from lots of compression, I have had no difficulty starting it and it hasn't 'bit' me yet. @Definitive Dave you have an excellent thread that you started here: https://opeforum.com/threads/064-066-ms650-ms660-info-thread.696/ maybe you can help me? Is .020 too much advance?
